The 97th Nordiq Canada Ski Nationals will take place from March 17-23, 2025 at the Canmore Nordic Centre, in Canmore, Alberta. The Nordiq Canada Ski Nationals are a Tier 1- FIS-sanctioned Nordiq Cup Event. The competition also includes the Canadian College and University National Championships (CCUNC) and the Canadian Para Nordic Championships. More than 800 senior, junior and para-nordic skiers will compete in sprints, distance races and team events.
The 2025 Ski Nationals are hosted by Canmore Nordic Ski Club, a community cross-country and biathlon ski club that nurtures sport for life with a focus on excellence in grassroots to competitive programming for children, youth, adults and families. The Canmore Nordic Ski Club was created more than 40 years ago and has been formally organized under the provisions of the Alberta Societies Act since 1991. We look forward to welcoming racers from across the country to our trails.

The Canmore Nordic Centre was originally constructed to host the cross-country skiing and biathlon events for the 1988 Winter Olympics. It has continued to host major events, most recently including a FIS Cross Country World Cup and IBU Biathlon World Cup in 2024. Nationals was last hosted here in 2017.
Set in the majestic Rocky Mountains, Canmore and Banff are havens for outdoor enthusiasts, and residents and visitors have endless opportunities to pursue their sporting passions in every season. As a result, our communities attract a broad range of world-class athletes, with the Canadian Cross Country Ski Team, the Canadian Biathlon Team, and the Alberta World Cup Academy (AWCA) calling the Bow Valley their home.
The Canmore Nordic Centre has approximately 75km of groomed cross country ski trails available. The trails not used for the event will continue to be open to the public during the Nordiq Canada Ski Nationals.
All venue facilities including, trails, wax testing, lodge, parking, wax rooms, grooming, snowmaking, communications and internet, and a daylodge with a commercial cafe are located onsite. The Canmore Nordic Centre has 12 team rooms and 22 wax rooms available for teams participating in the event.
There are approximately 450 parking stalls on site. All vehicles parking at Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park require a Kananaskis Conservation Pass linked to license plates ($15/day, $90/year). Day passes and annual passes are available for purchase at the venue or online.
